As of November 29, 2011, Felix ALBA Consultants, Inc. (FAC) has re-acquired from Agilent Technologies all rights and title to Felix Alba's life-time Acoustic and Optical Spectroscopy Intellectual Property. Two well-known products included in this IP package are the SCATTERER™ Research & Development Tool (Acoustics and Electromagnetics Suites) originally commercialized by FAC, and the ULTRASIZER™ acoustic particle size analyzer commercialized by Malvern Instruments Ltd from 1995 through 2006.

FAC hereby resumes the commercialization of the SCATTERER™ technology under the tradename Ultra-SCATTERER™, a much more powerful version of the previous product.

As for the ULTRASIZER™ acoustic particle sizer (an instrument considered by many of its users as "the most accurate" and as "a reference laboratory instrument"), Felix Alba is currently looking for an instrumentation company interested in taking over its manufacturing and commercialization.
